Apprenticeship places are to be allocated for summer 2021. Here you will find more information on the apprenticeship occupations of clothing designer and textile technologist.

Löffler has been training apprentices since 1987. During this period, over 100 girls and boys have successfully completed their training as clothing designers or textile technologists. The training is characterized by excellent basic training in the training workshop as well as versatile practical experience in the production teams. After the basic training, the apprentices immediately work on real orders. In addition, we offer interesting project work, excursions or the possibility of an internship abroad. After completing their training, the young skilled workers have a secure job in an innovative company in the region.

TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY

YOU WANT

Operating computerized knitting machines?
Working with natural and synthetic fibres?
Create knitting patterns?

Accuracy, manual skills, technical understanding and an interest in fashion and sports are ideal prerequisites for this apprenticeship. Versatile work in the Prasix and individual support characterize this apprenticeship.

YOU LEARN

Operation and monitoring of computer-controlled knitting machines
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, pneumatics and electropneumatics
Knitting pattern creation with the help of a special software
Maintenance and repair of knitting machines
Material requirements
Changeover of the machines to the requested knitting patterns

Imparting basic knowledge about possible applications and properties of the fibres
Practical training on highly technical circular knitting machines
Preparation for the final apprenticeship examination

YOU LEARN

Creation of cuts and cutting patterns
Order-related selection of materials
Cutting and sewing of garments
Work on special machines (e.g. hotBOND® machine, …)
Knowledge of models, colours, cuts and fabrics
Making your own clothes in the course of a project work
Rational execution of various processing methods in industrial and application of operational production technology
